FAQ
Getting Ready to Rent
Do I need to reserve in advance, or can I just walk in?
We highly recommend reserving in advance to ensure availability—especially on weekends and holidays. Walk-ins are welcome, but we can’t always guarantee a boat will be available.
How do I make a reservation?
It’s easy! Just give us a call with the following:
- Your preferred date
- Number of people
- Estimated time of arrival
- A credit card number for the security deposit
Do I need any ID to rent a boat?
Yes. A valid driver's license is required at the time of rental registration, and renters must be over 21 years old.
Is a Pleasure Craft Operator Card (PCOC) required to rent a boat?
No, a Pleasure Craft Operator Card (PCOC) is not required. If you don’t have one, we can issue a temporary one-day Pleasure Craft Operator certificate, provided you are over 21 and have a valid driver’s license. Before issuing it, we’ll give you a brief training session covering boating safety and a practical demonstration. Learn more about the PCOC [here].
What is included in the boat rental fees?
